Paper and Gold: Oakland, CA, United States; © Paper & Gold is one of the projects of jeweler Cynthia Rohrer, brought to you direct from her all new North Oakland studio.............................................. She seeks to make work which is simple in form and practice; with a low impact.............................................. She utilizes discards and friend's scraps, along with 100% recycled precious metals, in her fabricated jewelry................................................ Cynthia started learning about metal arts at City College SF, went on to receive a 2 year fellowship at Penland School of Crafts, and has spent time at the Mendocino Art Center as a resident and teacher.................................. Richmond Art Center workshop

April 30- May 1 ::::::::::::::::::: What a great group of students I had in the East Bay for an earring intensive this month. :::::::::::::::::::::::::: The RAC, which celebrates its 75th ANNIVERSARY this year, is jam-packed full of fabulous equipment, and I loved teaching there. I was joined by an independent and motivated group of students, many of whom know each other from the RAC open studios. :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Support the Art Center in any way you can this year and in the future, it is a dynamic place.

Earrings: Two Days, Two Ways!

I had an amazing time up on the North Coast for my latest class at the MENDOCINO ART CENTER::::::::::::::::::::::::::: What great group of 7 students of all levels, and each of them made significant strides in the studio. I will post some images soon:::::::::::::::::::::::::: If you missed the class, I hope to see you up there in the Fall or next Spring.

OREGON COLLEGE of ART & CRAFT recent community workshop

Go For Gold: Start To Finish went great on Feb 5-6. :::::::::: I had a blast with my wonderful, motivated students in PORTLAND, OR. ::::::::::::: We really loved our visit, and all the love from friends there.
